A big milestone for Meadowtail Farm — we had our very first visit to the apiary! 🌿🐝

Before heading out to the hives, we got fitted properly for our bee suits to make sure everything was comfortable and safe.

Seeing the bees in person for the first time was an amazing experience. After spending weeks learning about hives, equipment, and bee behaviour, it was incredible to finally stand beside active colonies and watch the bees at work.

One thing that really surprised us was the sound coming from inside the hive — it was actually very calming and soothing to listen to 🐝

This feels like a huge step forward in our beekeeping journey, and we’re excited to continue learning more hands-on skills at the apiary over the coming weeks.

Every experience like this brings Meadowtail Farm one step closer to the future we’re building 🌱
